The EN/ability Project is an outreach program spearheaded by founders of Dynamic Pediatric Therapy whose goal is to provide services to the underserved children of Cebu. They have informally started the outreach in March 2014. To date, they have served municipalities of Borbon and Balamban, Cebu.
Apple founded the EN/ability Project with the mission to give back to her the community where she was born and raised. She received her undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) at Velez College. She received a master in OT from San Jose State University and a doctorate in OT from University of Southern California. She is a board-certified pediatric occupational therapist and her areas of specialties include occupational therapy interventions for infant development and feeding, pediatric feeding and swallowing in medically complex children, sensory processing and integration, lactation support, dysphagia, and maternal-infant mental health.
Berry is an occupational therapist and co-founder of the EN/ability Project and Dynamic Pediatric Therapy IN Cebu City, Philippines. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from De La Salle University-Manila, and Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Southern California. Berry has a strong background in working with children 0-21 years of age with developmental delay, pervasive developmental disorders, congenital disorders, neurologic disorders and injuries and physical disabilities. She also pursued her training in feeding and swallowing for children with feeding difficulties and disorders.
Luna has a background in occupational therapy and pharmaceutical sales an marketing. She received her BS in Occupational Therapy at Velez college. She is faculty member in the Occupational Therapy Department at Velez College. She has started participating in our EN/ability Projects as a volunteer and and is now a very active member in building partnerships and collaborations within Cebu City and Cebu Province.
Carmel has a degree in Industrial Technology with a major in Food Preparation and Services from Cebu State College of Science and Technology. She is a resident of Lugo, Borbon, Cebu. Having a child with special needs brought Carmel to the advocacy of helping children with disabilities and their parents. She wants to be the voice of families of children with special needs who live in underserved communities.
