Aviril Lee Sepulveda
President

Aviril, also known as Apple is a board certified pediatric occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience in the field.  She is the Director of Rehabilitation at Totally Kids Specialty Healthcare and an occupational therapist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.   She received her Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy from Velez College in Cebu, Philippines and Master of Science degree in occupational therapy from San Jose State University.    She is currently doing her doctoral studies in occupational therapy from USC Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy.

Her dedication to serving children is not limited to the children in the Los Angeles area but also reached as far as her roots, the Philippines.  She is the founder of Dynamic Pediatric Therapy and Associates with the goal to provide quality therapy services in Cebu using evidenced-base practices.   She founded the En/Ability Project because she recognizes that early screening, early detection, and early intervention for prevention of developmental disabilities.   She realizes that there are children in the rural areas of Cebu that have been undetected and underserved.  She aims to empower the families to take care of their children with disabilities and enrich their lives.

Angel Briones
Vice President

Angel graduated in Cebu Doctors’ University with a Bachelors degree on Physical Therapy. She focused her career on Sales and Business Development Management. Her previous experience was in Singapore as a Sales Manager and Business Development Manager. Currently she is assisting both Dynamic Pediatric Therapy & Dynamic Education. She organizes the outreach programs for EN/ability Project, fundraising, as well as spearheading the “Rehabilitation Playground Project.” She also volunteers to organize the Cebu Philippines 2016 trip for Liddle Kidz Foundation with other 30 global ambassadors.

Teresa Briones
Secretary

Tisay finished her bachelor’s degree in management accounting at University of San Carlos and is currently a manager at JPMorgan Chase Bank. With her passion of teaching, she also pursued her bachelors degree for education and passed the professional education licensure exam. Then she continued and finished the program for Special Education (SPED) at University of the Visayas.

Bernardine Aurell Sepulveda
Treasurer

Berry received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from De La Salle University-Manila. She pursued her studies based on her  interest in working with children, and later obtained her Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Southern California where she started her training in Ayres Sensory Integration. Berry has a strong background in working with children 0-21 years of age with developmental delay, pervasive developmental disorders, congenital disorders, neurologic disorders and injuries and physical disabilities. She also pursued her training in feeding and swallowing for children with feeding difficulties and disorders.

Christa Camille Tse Toledo
Auditor

Christa is an Electronics and Communications Engineer, and Real Estate Broker by profession. She is currently a Property Specialist for Ayala Land Sales Inc. Though she does not have a background in Physical or Occupational Therapy, she shares the organization’s passion to help children, especially those with special needs.

Nicole Christianne Mae Bacayo
Board Member

Nicole graduated from Velez College with Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy last March 2014 and obtained her professional license in the same year. With her interest in children, she has attended seminars & courses focusing in pediatrics like “Making sense of what children with Cerebral Palsy See” & “Vision to perception.” She is highly passionate about working with children with needs and assisting with their families. She is an advocate for early & holistic intervention and to encourage involvement of families and caregivers.

Christel Kira Patalinghug
Board Member

Kira graduated from Velez College with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational therapy March 2014. She acquired her professional license August 2014. She attended seminars and courses on OT Pediatrics like “Floortime” & “Social Thinking.” She is passionate in serving children with special needs and their families. She promores early intervention & active involvement of families and caregivers. Her aim is to provide quality intervention and service to the community.

April Grace Chiongbian
Board Member

Pria graduated from Velez College with Bachelors Degree of Occupational Therapy March 2015. She obtained her professional license August of the same year. She is currently taking up Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in Cebu Doctors University. Children has always had a special space in her heart and she focused on pediatrics through her entire Occupational Therapy Course. She has attended seminars directed towards pediatrics and she is passionate in specializing in the field & in working with the children and their families.

Ana Margarita Torres
Board Member

Marga graduated from Velez College & passed the PT licensure exam August 2014. She previously worked at Perpetual Succour Hospital & Cebu Community Medical Center.

Maiya Bianca Robles Aguila
Board Member

Maiya completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from De La Salle University Manila. Brought by her passion in working with Children, she pursued further studies and completed her Masters in Education degree Major in Early Childhood Education on 2014. She also attained her professional license as a teacher on the same year. Maiya has been an educator for 10 years and is currently a co-founder of Dynamic Education.

Fely Kate Uraca
Board Member

Fely Kate graduated from Cebu Doctors’ University. She previously worked in a Community-Based Rehabilitation Program for children and youth with Disabilities as an OT and Community Organizer at NORFIL. Her exposure to the underserved children with needs in the community has sparked interest to continue working with kids with needs. Although now working in a different setting, she continues to advocate for the rights of these children and their families.

Charisse Olvis
Board Member

Charisse graduated from Velez College March 2015 and passed her OT Licensure Exam August 2015. She is a member of Philippine Academy of Occupational Therapists. She has a high interest in dealing in kids with special needs.
